Forgotten Franchise

I've gotta admit, I've never really been exposed to any version of The Green Hornet. I've been fleetingly aware of it, of course. But it wasn't until the new Hollywood makeover that I really paid any attention to it. Quentin Tarantino included Al Hirt's theme from the 1960s TV series on the Kill Bill soundtrack, and I thought that was pretty cool. I didn't realize it was used as far back as the serials, and I would guess it's in the radio show as well. I spent the day with episodes of Batman playing in the background that guest starred The Green Hornet and Kato from their own TV show. Good stuff.
